Um homem foi preso, pela Polícia Militar de Minas Gerais, nesta quarta-feira (21), suspeito de tráfico de drogas, em Água Boa.
Segundo a PMMG, denúncias anônimas indicavam, que o suspeito, usava sua residência, localizada na rua Neco Barbosa, para a comercialização de entorpecentes, que de acordo com os relatos, eram habitualmente escondidos em vasos de plantas para evitar a detecção.
Durante a diligência, os policiais localizaram o indivíduo e, em busca pessoal, encontraram um pino de cocaína em sua posse. Na sequência da operação, a guarnição realizou uma varredura no imóvel e confirmou as informações da denúncia ao encontrar mais entorpecentes ocultos na vegetação ornamental do local.
Ainda segundo a PMMG, ao todo, foram apreendidos três pedras de crack, dois pinos de cocaína e R$37 em espécie. O homem, que já possui passagens pela Polícia, foi preso em flagrante e conduzido à delegacia de plantão.
A corporação reiterou que a retirada de circulação de substâncias ilícitas e a colaboração da comunidade via denúncias são fundamentais para as ações de segurança pública na região.
