Uma operação conjunta da Polícia Militar de Minas Gerais (PMMG) com a Polícia Civil resultou na prisão de um homem de 29 anos e na apreensão de drogas, dinheiro e diversos materiais ilícitos, no bairro São Geraldo, em Itamarandiba.
A ação foi realizada no último dia 11 de abril pela 23ª Companhia de Polícia Militar Independente.
De acordo com a PM, a operação foi planejada após uma tentativa de homicídio registrada na região e teve como objetivo intensificar o combate a crimes violentos e desarticular grupos ligados ao tráfico de drogas.
Durante a ação, os militares cumpriram um mandado de prisão preventiva e três mandados de busca e apreensão. As diligências levaram à identificação de um imóvel utilizado como ponto de armazenamento e distribuição de entorpecentes.
No local, foram apreendidas oito barras de maconha — sendo uma de grande porte —, duas buchas da mesma substância e seis papelotes de cocaína. Também foram recolhidos R$35.963 em dinheiro, três balanças de precisão, nove aparelhos celulares, duas câmeras de segurança com cartão de memória, três cartões magnéticos, além de um notebook, um pen drive, um conector USB e um adaptador de cartão de memória.
O suspeito foi preso e encaminhado, juntamente com o material apreendido, para a delegacia de Polícia Civil.
