Em Diamantina, a Polícia Militar de Minas Gerais prendeu, nesta quinta-feira (25), um homem suspeito de envolvimento com adulteração de sinal identificador de veículo e receptação.
A ocorrência foi registrada na rodovia MGC-259, na altura do km 459, durante patrulhamento de rotina.
Conforme a PMRv, os militares abordaram uma caminhonete Nissan/Frontier que havia sido denunciada por possível clonagem. Após a fiscalização, foi constatado que o veículo apresentava adulterações em seus sinais identificadores, confirmando a irregularidade.
O condutor informou aos policiais que havia adquirido o automóvel por meio de troca com uma Toyota/SW4. Ainda segundo a corporação, diante da situação, o suspeito recebeu voz de prisão e foi encaminhado à Delegacia de Polícia Civil em Diamantina.
Segundo a Polícia Militar, a ocorrência faz parte de um esquema mais amplo, já que outras duas caminhonetes foram apreendidas na cidade de Itinga e uma em Diamantina, todas ligadas aos mesmos envolvidos.
