Um homem foi preso em flagrante pela Polícia Militar na tarde desta quarta-feira (07), no povoado de Santa Luzia, zona rural de São Sebastião do Maranhão, após ser denunciado por exibir uma arma de fogo em plena praça pública.
Segundo a PMMG, a ação foi desencadeada após uma denúncia anônima que alertou as autoridades sobre o risco oferecido pelo suspeito aos moradores que frequentavam o local.
Ao chegarem ao endereço indicado, os militares abordaram o suspeito, que admitiu a conduta e justificou estar sob o efeito de bebidas alcoólicas.
Ainda segundo a PMMG, durante a diligência, o homem entregou voluntariamente uma carabina de pressão adaptada para o uso de munição calibre .22. Além do armamento adulterado, a polícia apreendeu sete munições intactas e um cartucho deflagrado que estavam em posse do suspeito.
Após a detenção, a equipe policial realizou buscas na residência do homem com o intuito de localizar outros materiais ilícitos, porém nada mais foi encontrado.
O homem foi preso em flagrante e juntamente com a arma e as munições apreendidas, foi encaminhado para a Delegacia de Plantão em Guanhães.
